Trash days will be Friday and Saturday, May 17-18, 2024
Dumpsters will be set up behind the borough building at 229 Arthur Street for residents to deposit trash on Friday and Saturday, May 17th & 18th between the hours of 8:00am – 4:00pm. You must provide proof of residency by showing a drivers license or current utility bill. No pickup service will be available.
Appliances with Freon and scrap metal will be accepted.
The following items will NOT be accepted:
- tires
- batteries
- hazardous materials
- paint
- solvents
- petroleum products
- televisions or other electronic items/appliances
- large stuffed furniture
- mattresses/box springs
- fertilizers
- pesticides
- grass clippings
- branches/brush/leaves
- propane tanks
- rail road ties
- household garbage
- animal waste
- any construction materials (including carpeting and padding)
The dumpsters will be under video surveillance and any unauthorized person(s) caught disposing of unacceptable items or scavenging the dumpster after hours will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
