West Kittanning Borough, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania is home to 1,175 residents over a 0.43 square mile area.  Founded by John Cunningham in 1855, the town was formerly known as Bellville.  

We’re over 100 years old!

According to the Armstrong County Geological Project, the town was incorporated as a borough in 1900.  The first census in 1910 revealed a population of 871, with West Kittanning Lumber having a large lumber yard located within the borough’s boundaries.

Monthly Council Meeting

All residents are encouraged to attend the monthly council meeting.  First Monday of the month – 6:30pm. at the West Kittanning Borough Building – 229 Arthur Street.

Our Town
